Participation in the start-up competition “StartUp Bolashak”. State scale, but only in Kazakhstan :)

I divide my life into before: “becoming a freelancer” and consider it a past life, and after: “being a freelancer with Top Rated status”.

In my past life, even before I became a freelancer, I was a socially active unit of society, as it should be: strong networking, interesting and thoughtful communication, participation in the political life of the city, etc.

I wanted to share one of the highlights of my past life that I somehow forgot to mention on social media.

Back in the summer of 2015, I applied for a business idea to teach the Kazakh language. Suddenly, among 20,000 entries, my application was selected and I, along with 19 other participants, were accepted into an ambitious project called StartUp Bolashak.

We were taken to a small cottage community near Astana, where we relaxed and worked on presenting our ideas.

I was the first to present my idea, but unfortunately I didn’t make it to the final. But those were great times…
